We are working with a global architecture, urban design, and planning consultancy delivering large-scale urban regeneration, transit-oriented developments, hospitality-led masterplans, and mixed-use precincts worldwide. Due to continued project wins, the studio is seeking a Senior Project Urban Designer to lead complex urban design initiatives across the region.

This role is ideal for an experienced urban designer with strong conceptual, masterplanning, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

– Lead urban design and masterplanning projects from concept through design development
– Develop compelling urban strategies, spatial frameworks, and placemaking concepts
– Produce high-quality diagrams, masterplans, and visual presentations
– Coordinate with architectural, planning, landscape, and engineering teams
– Lead client workshops, presentations, and design reviews
– Oversee project delivery, timelines, and internal resourcing
– Guide junior designers and contribute to studio-wide design culture
– Support business development, competitions, and strategic pursuits

Key Requirements

– Degree or Master’s in Urban Design, Architecture, or City Planning
– Minimum 8–12 years of experience in urban design or masterplanning
– Strong portfolio of large-scale urban, mixed-use, TOD, hospitality, or regeneration projects
– Excellent conceptual thinking, diagramming, and storytelling skills
– Proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp
– Experience engaging with government authorities, developers, and international consultants
– Strong presentation and communication skills
– Regional or international project exposure preferred
