We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Johor, Malaysia, as they expand their hyperscale data centre operations. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, executing, and commissioning electrical systems for our state-of-the-art data centre facilities.


Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering: Review and coordinate electrical designs with consultants and vendors, providing feedback as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and maintain strong relationships.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality delivery.
- Electrical System Execution: Lead the execution of electrical systems, including MV/LV, UPS, PDUs, and DG sets, to ensure smooth commissioning.
- Site Coordination: Resolve site-related issues with contractors, ensuring proper installation and testing.
- Testing and Commissioning: Validate and witness testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with design and SLD requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including installation, testing, and commissioning records.
- Safety and Compliance: Develop guidelines for safety checks and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety norms and regulations.

Key Requirements:
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in DC infrastructure, executing mission-critical facilities.
- Data Centre Experience: Prior experience in managing data centre projects, including handover to stakeholders within schedule.
- Hyperscale Experience: Experience with hyperscale customers in data centre projects, including IST (Integrated System Testing).
