We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Head Project Manager to join a dynamic team that has a global presence in the hospitality interior design industry. Successful candidate will oversee and lead all project management activities within the interior design team
This role involves managing project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of hospitality design projects, and maintaining high standards of quality, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management within the hospitality industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, designers, and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Project Oversight:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of hospitality design projects.
- Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure all projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct regular project updates and presentations to clients.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Communicate project progress and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers as needed.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all design and construction work meets the company's standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality
Key Requirements:
- 6-7 years project management experience (5-10 years hospitality experience or preferably similar)
- Degree in interior design or architecture or equivalent professional experience
- International 5-star luxury project experience (good to have)
- Technical requirements include proficiency in using design and manufacturing software (i.e.AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must be able to work with individuals across the organization in different country
- Requires a strong team-oriented approach and good organization and time qualities of a leader
- English communication and presentation skills
