We're seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johor, Malaysia, as our client expands its hyperscale data centre operations. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, executing, and commissioning cooling systems for our state-of-the-art data centre facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering: Review and coordinate cooling designs with consultants and vendors, providing feedback as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and maintain strong relationships.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality delivery.
- Cooling System Execution: Lead the execution of cooling systems, including HVAC low side, PAHU, and Chiller, to ensure smooth commissioning.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including installation, testing, and commissioning records.
- Safety and Compliance: Develop guidelines for safety checks and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety norms and regulations.

Key Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in DC infrastructure, executing mission-critical facilities
- Data Centre Experience: Prior experience in managing data centre projects, including handover to stakeholders within schedule
- Hyperscale Experience: Experience with hyperscale customers in data centre projects, including IST (Integrated System Testing)
- Certifications: Possess IOW (Inspector of Work) Cert
