We are supporting a design consultancy recognised for delivering workplace, commercial, and regional corporate projects across Asia-Pacific. To strengthen their project delivery capabilities, the studio is seeking a Procurement / Purchasing Manager to join its Singapore team.

This role is ideal for a procurement professional with minimum 5–7 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management within the interior design, construction, or commercial fit-out environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing procurement across multiple regional projects.



Key Responsibilities

– Manage end-to-end procurement processes for furniture, fixtures, materials, and project-related goods
– Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors locally and across the region
– Prepare purchase orders, cost estimates, procurement schedules, and budget reports
– Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure all materials align with specifications and project requirements
– Maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, competitive pricing, and quality compliance
– Monitor inventory, deliveries, and logistics, coordinating with freight partners and warehouse teams as needed
– Conduct supplier evaluations and streamline vendor databases to support regional operations
– Resolve procurement-related issues such as delays, quality discrepancies, or pricing deviations
– Support tender processes, including sourcing quotes, comparing bids, and recommending optimal options
– Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company processes, commercial standards, and compliance requirements across different APAC markets



Key Requirements

– 5–7 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply-chain experience within interiors, construction, commercial fit-out, or related industry
– Strong regional supplier knowledge and experience managing procurement across multiple APAC markets
– Understanding of workplace furniture systems, materials, finishes, and construction components
– Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills
– Proficiency in procurement systems, MS Excel, and ability to interpret design/technical documentation
– Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage procurement across multiple fast-paced projects
– Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with design teams, project managers, and external suppliers
– Ability to troubleshoot logistics, delivery schedules, and quality issues proactively
