We’re working with a rapidly expanding data centre operator to hire a Contracts & Cost Manager to support their project delivery team across the region. This role is instrumental in driving cost efficiency, ensuring contract compliance, and supporting procurement strategies for mission-critical infrastructure builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent implementation of internal policies for construction contracts and consultancy agreements.
- Advise project teams on contract matters, procurement planning, and tender processes.
- Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, and suppliers; maintain an updated registry of approved vendors.
- Provide insights on construction cost trends, benchmarking, tender indices, and value engineering opportunities.
- Maintain accurate development cost records and deliver regular financial and cost reports.
- Use data, financial models, and trend analysis to identify and propose cost-saving strategies.
- Oversee procurement of provisional sum items and ensure spending aligns with project budgets.
- Contribute cost input to feasibility studies and support ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation and safekeeping of contracts, final accounts, insurance policies, and related records.
- Support other project-related commercial activities as required.
Key Requirements:
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost control, or contract management—ideally with exposure to data centre or industrial projects.
- Solid understanding of building services and full-cycle project delivery.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; multilingual ability is a plus.
- Independent, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage tight deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and team collaboration skills.
- Degree in Building Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
