We are working with a design consultancy recognised for delivering agile, people-centric workplace environments across the Asia-Pacific region. With a growing portfolio of multinational and regional clients, the studio is seeking a Senior Workplace Designer to join its Singapore team.
This position is ideal for a designer with 5–8 years of experience who can balance concept development, strategy-informed design, technical delivery, and client collaboration across regional workplace projects.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead the design and development of workplace environments across Singapore and the wider APAC region
– Develop concept narratives, space plans, and design strategies aligned with organisational culture and user needs
– Create presentations, visual storytelling decks, and mood boards for client pitches and design reviews
– Prepare detailed drawings, tender documentation, and technical packages
– Coordinate closely with clients, workplace strategists, consultants, and contractors to ensure cohesive project outcomes
– Participate in regional client meetings, presentations, and workshops (occasional travel may be required)
– Guide junior designers and support the overall creative output of the team
– Conduct site visits, review construction progress, and resolve design-related issues
– Ensure all design solutions meet functional, operational, and brand requirements
Key Requirements
– 5–8 years of workplace interior design experience, ideally with exposure to regional or multinational accounts
– Strong portfolio showcasing agile, hybrid, or corporate workplace environments
– Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; Revit knowledge is an advantage
– Strong understanding of workplace planning, adjacency strategies, and furniture/AV integration
– Confident communicator with experience in fronting clients and facilitating presentations
– Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
– Strong technical understanding of detailing, documentation, and construction processes
– Experience collaborating with consultants such as MEP engineers, QS, contractors, and workplace strategy teams
– Open to Singaporean/PR, EP, WP candidates
