We are currently working with an established Data Centre Operator in seeking an experienced Data Centre Accounts Director to drive business development and sales growth in our Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea markets. As a key member of our commercial team, you'll leverage your expertise in data centre sales and technical sales to acquire new clients, build strategic relationships, and contribute to the company's revenue and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Acquire new clients through targeted business development plans, driving sales into all available DCI Data Centers.
- Client Relationships: Work closely with clients prior to their approach to market for data center requirements, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Sales Strategy: Prepare and present sales presentations for clients and internal stakeholders, identifying and evaluating new sales opportunities across various DC projects.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed of industry trends, assessing commercial intelligence of the local market to drive business growth.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activity and sales pipeline, providing regular sales updates and forecasts for the VP of Sales.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical, operational, project delivery, and commercial, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: Data Centre Sales Technical Sales preferred, ICT or Relevant sales and technical experience.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years ICT sales experience, ideally with Data Center sales experience, and proven track records of success in sales, account management, and business development with Chinese Hyperscalers and Global Enterprises.
- Sales Expertise: Proven experience in understanding ICT environments, equipment, and infrastructure services, with experience in applying sales methodology and its principles.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate with a genuine give-and-take approach.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify and implement best practices from other organizations to maximize revenues, profits, or market share.
- Relationship Building: Strong relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to interact at an executive/strategic level.
