Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Continuously assess and manage scope changes, ensuring project goals remain intact.
- Allocate resources efficiently to tasks, balancing workloads across the team and ensuring optimal utilization of available resources.
- Develop and manage project schedules, identifying critical path activities and potential bottlenecks. Keep projects on track by monitoring progress and proactively addressing delays.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address issues as they arise and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Communicate project status, updates, and expectations to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Maintain a sharp focus on quality by ensuring that project deliverables meet established standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, change orders, and relevant correspondence.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in project management, preferably within the lighting industry or related fields.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMI or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
