Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of property development projects, including concept planning, design development, approvals, procurement, construction, and completion.
- Drive value-add initiatives such as redevelopment, repositioning, and asset enhancement to maximise returns.
- Develop and manage development budgets, timelines, and business plans in line with underwriting assumptions.
- Appoint, manage, and coordinate external consultants including architects, designers, project managers, contractors, and technical advisors.
- Oversee project delivery to ensure quality, cost, and timeline objectives are achieved.
- Work closely with acquisitions and asset management teams during due diligence to assess development feasibility, capex requirements, and execution risks.
- Provide technical input into investment underwriting, including cost estimates, timelines, and development strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and internal governance standards.
- Contribute to portfolio-wide development strategies across multiple asset classes, including residential, commercial, hospitality, logistics, and mixed-use.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Building, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 6–10 years of experience.
- Proven track record managing large-scale real estate development or asset enhancement projects.
- Experience working with private equity real estate firms, developers, or institutional owners preferred.
- Strong understanding of development processes, cost management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Commercially driven with strong financial acumen and understanding of investment objectives.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
