Our client is a leading global real estate investment manager with a strong Europe foothold and an extensive network of private and listed funds. They manage a diversified portfolio across asset classes and geographies, creating long-term value for their stakeholders through responsible and strategic capital deployment.
This will benefit candidates with an already existing experience in Capital Raising, where they will continue to expand their network with top-tier institutional investors, SWFs, and family offices in both Singapore and China. This role will provides a track to senior roles in investor relations, fund management, or even future GP/LP partnership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute fundraising initiatives for private real estate funds, co-investments, and other vehicles.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional and accredited investors from Greater China (e.g. insurance firms, banks, family offices, sovereign wealth funds).
- Drive the investor onboarding process, including due diligence, documentation, and negotiations.
- Identify and cultivate new investor opportunities in China and Taiwan.
- Collaborate with the Product and Investment teams to structure and position fund offerings to suit investor appetite.
- Serve as the key contact for Chinese investors post-close—handling ongoing queries, reporting needs, and relationship management.
- Translate and localize investor materials, presentations, and marketing content where needed.
- Work closely with internal teams across investments, legal, finance, and compliance to ensure alignment and execution of fundraising goals.
- Participate in roadshows, capital market events, and investor briefings.
Key Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or fund distribution within asset management, private equity, or real estate investment firms.
- Strong knowledge of private fund structures, capital markets, and real estate investment products.
- Preferably, but not required, having a proven track record of engaging Chinese institutional investors (e.g. insurance companies, sovereign funds, family offices) with successful fundraising outcomes.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written), with the ability to confidently present, negotiate, and manage relationships in both languages.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain investor trust and long-term relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex cross-border transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline. CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional certifications are advantageous.
