We are currently representing a prominent global logistics fund manager, seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Japan entity. With a focus on managing funds backed by Chinese investors, we are looking for an individual who possesses exceptional fund management expertise, fluent bilingual proficiency in Japanese and Mandarin, and a deep understanding of the logistics investment landscape.

The Bilingual Fund Management Professional will be responsible for managing funds backed by Chinese investors, with a specific focus on logistics investments. This role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills in both Japanese and Mandarin.


Key Responsibilities:

Fund Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of logistics funds backed by Chinese investors.
- Develop and implement investment strategies in line with fund objectives and investor expectations.
- Monitor fund performance, conduct risk analysis, and implement necessary adjustments to optimize returns.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Investor Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese investors, fostering strong relationships and providing regular updates on fund performance and investment opportunities.
- Address investor inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence processes as needed.

Deal Sourcing and Execution:
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the logistics sector, particularly in Japan.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
- Negotiate and structure investment deals, working closely with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure successful execution.

Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and actively manage existing investments within the portfolio, identifying opportunities for value enhancement and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with asset management teams to drive operational improvements and optimize asset performance.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and investors, highlighting portfolio performance and key metrics.

Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments impacting the logistics sector in Japan and China.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify emerging investment opportunities and potential risks.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence and analysis.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of [5-10] years of experience in fund management, investment banking, private equity, or related fields, with a focus on logistics or real estate investments.
- Fluency in both Japanese and Mandarin, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in evaluating investment opportunities and conducting due diligence.
- Proven track record of successfully managing investment funds and delivering strong returns to investors.
- Deep understanding of the logistics industry, including market dynamics, asset valuation, and operational considerations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software.
