Key Responsibilities:
- Fund Accounting Mastery: Take charge of the full spectrum of fund accounting for our diverse portfolio of hospitality investments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Accounts Consolidation: Lead the consolidation of accounts for various entities within our complex fund structures, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, investor reports, and other critical financial analyses, providing insightful data to stakeholders. You'll be instrumental in both internal and external reporting.
- Audit Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, managing the audit process efficiently and ensuring all requests are handled promptly.
- Treasury & Funding Oversight: Monitor treasury activities, including cash flow management, and support funding initiatives, ensuring optimal liquidity and capital allocation.
- Regional Expertise: Be a key player in our APAC expansion, understanding the nuances of regional financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve fund accounting processes, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with investment teams, asset management, and external partners (auditors, administrators) to ensure seamless operations.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all activities adhere to relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in fund accounting, ideally within the real estate, private equity, or hospitality investment sectors, with a strong background in accounts consolidation and financial reporting.
- APAC Insight: Strong understanding of fund structures and regulatory environments within the APAC region, along with experience in managing audit processes.
- Financial Acumen: Solid grasp of treasury functions and funding mechanisms.
Analytical Acumen: Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, able to articulate complex financial information clearly and liaise effectively with auditors and other stakeholders.
- Singapore Based: Must be currently residing in Singapore with the right to work.
