We are collaborating with an international design practice celebrated for its strategic and human-centric approach to workplace, commercial, and mixed-use environments. With a focus on innovation, functionality, and experience-led design, the studio is seeking a Senior Workplace Designer to join its Singapore team.

 

This role is ideal for a designer with 8–12 years of professional experience who combines conceptual thinking with strong spatial planning and delivery skills. You will lead workplace design projects from strategy and concept to completion, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and global clients to deliver environments that reflect culture, performance, and future ways of working.

 

Key Responsibilities

– Lead the design and development of workplace and commercial interior projects from concept through completion
– Translate strategic workplace insights into creative design solutions that enhance user experience and functionality
– Develop space plans, concept presentations, and detailed design documentation packages
– Collaborate closely with workplace strategists, architects, and consultants to ensure cohesive project outcomes
– Prepare FF&E schedules, specifications, and material selections aligned with design vision and client requirements
– Present design concepts and solutions to clients with clarity, confidence, and authority
– Oversee on-site coordination, ensuring design integrity and quality standards are upheld through construction
– Mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking studio culture

 

Key Requirements

– 8–12 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong focus on workplace or commercial interiors
– Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
– Proven ability to lead design development and manage large-scale corporate workplace projects
– Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, creativity, and technical execution
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with BIM processes is advantageous
– Knowledge of current workplace trends, planning principles, and material innovation
– Excellent communication, client management, and coordination skills
– Experience working in international or multidisciplinary teams is preferred
