We are currently representing an international data centre operator, known for its leading position globally and is actively seeking for a Data Centre Development Planner for the APAC region, and will be seated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence study for land use, planning permission, legal, social, financial, and environmental factors for suitability of data center development.
- Conduct feasibility study for site planning to optimize efficiency, staying informed about changes in site planning compliance affecting property development.
- Coordinate closely with stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and operational teams.
- Provide architectural advice to stakeholders.
- Study and propose architectural layout test fits incorporating Data Centre Building, Facility Building, Mechanical, and Electrical plant space requirements.
- Initiative to understand overseas design compliances.
- Have a good understanding and analysis of technical implications and building operation requirements.
- Contribute ideas to overcome site planning challenges and architectural design-related issues with stakeholders.
- Finalize the site master plan with the consultant team, including architects and engineers, contractors, to meet service resiliency, functionality, operability and maintainability, sustainability, and time-to-market requirements.
- Monitor consultants and contractors' design deliverables.
- Provide analysis for an informed decision on site selection.
- Lead external consultants in planning permission application.

Key Requirements:
- Site planning and building design expertise.
- Registration as an Architect is preferred.
- Experience in hyperscale data center, micro-electronics, or other critical infrastructure is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with computer-aided design programs, 3D modeling such as SketchUp is a must.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to balance competing viewpoints and interests.
- Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
