Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Overseeing the planning, design, and construction of data center facilities from inception to completion. - Budgeting and Cost Control: Developing project budgets, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures while ensuring quality standards are met. - Schedule Management: Creating and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of construction milestones. - Quality Assurance: Implementing and enforcing quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets industry standards and specifications. - Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address construction-related issues such as delays, budget overruns, or safety concerns. - Stakeholder Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders including senior management, clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns. - Compliance: Ensuring that all construction activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and other legal requirements. - Team Leadership: Leading and managing a multidisciplinary team of construction professionals including project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors. - Vendor Management: Selecting and managing relationships with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors involved in the construction process. - Health and Safety: Implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the construction project
Key Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand Basis of Design (BOD) documentation.
- Ability to read and understand Technical Design Requirements & Specifications.
- Ability to review and understand Basic and Detailed Design MEP and Construction Drawings. - Ability to lead and conduct technical design and construction review sessions.
- Team leadership experience.
- Experience working in teams.
- Strong written skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Japanese language a must / English language skills required.
- Minimum 15 years experience.
